Playa Cofresi is located about 25 minutes west by car from the Puerto Plata International Airport (POP). Carriers to Puerto Plata include American Airlines, Continental, Delta and US Airways. Charters also available from major cities: Northwest, Suntrips, etc.
Jet Blue now flies into Santiago, a little more than an hour away.
The above plus US Airways andn USA 3000, Spirit and US Air all fly into Santo Domingo Airport, which is 3 hours distant from Puerto Plata. Private cars or taxi rides are available from Santo Domingo Airport to the villa at a cost of $150.00 per vehicle. The trip lasts about 3 hours.
We can have you met at the airport by someone who knows the house, for the price of a taxi. One vehicle fits 4 or 5 people depending on luggage. Prices quoted may change.
The recommended way to get around is by taxi. Their fares are similar to US rates as regards distance. But they charge very little for waiting, will come back to get you at a set time and may provide other services and courtesies.
Rental cars, scooters and motoconchos are also available.
