Gabino Binet has a good command of English and is very knowledgeable about the Island.
Lina, our housekeeper/cook, arrives at 8:30 am. She cooks breakfast and dinner, cleans and does laundry.
Jacob comes in about 4:30 pm when Lina leaves. He serves dinner and cleans up. Jacob also takes care of the garden and the pool, makes early morning coffee if needed and handles our back-up system. His room and bath have their own entrance and stairway. If there are 6 or more people in your group, we hire another woman to help out.
If you want us to stock drinks, snacks and food or Lina to cook breakfast the morning after your arrival, Gabino charges $15.00 for this shopping trip plus the cost of the groceries.
As a convenience, Gabino can shop for drinks, snacks and the ingredients for breakfast the next morning. Since we do not offer dinner the first night, he can also buy the makings for sandwiches, or you can walk down to Chris and Mady's Restaurant nearby. The price of this shopping service is the cost of the groceries plus $15.00 for the trip. Pre-arrival shopping is very worthwhile because it means that you can settle in when you arrive and then leisurely choose your meals for the week.
You take Lina shopping the next morning. She chooses necessary ingredients for your evening meals, while you choose any snacks, breakfast and lunch foods, etc.
